Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send out invoices to customers
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
• Follow up with clients on overdue payments via phone, email, or mail
• Apply payments to customer accounts accurately and timely
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or customer billing issues
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
• Prepare AR aging reports and assist with month-end closing
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Familiarity with collections laws and regulations
